What is the warranty on HulaLab hoops?

All hoops come with a 1 year warranty & we will replace it if it breaks under normal use (excludes water and fire damage). Warranty covers tubing, all shipping charges, and packaging. We now offer a 2 year warranty option for an extra fee. You can select this option when placing your order. Replacement hoops are typically sent out within a few days.


Where is the on/off button?

The button is located below the charge port. You should be able to trigger it by pressing the tip of your finger into the hole in the tubing.


How do I change between modes?

Press the on/off button to change between modes. Press and hold the button to turn the hoop off.


How do I charge my hoop?

Your hoop has internal, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Use the provided USB cord to charge your hoop.


How do I know if my hoop is fully charged?

When you plug it in you will see blinking red, yellow or green lights while it is charging, and 3 steady green lights when it is fully charged.


How do I collapse my hoop?

Use the hex key (Allen wrench) to remove the screw that is closest to the switch. Do NOT remove the other screw. When putting it back together, insert the end of the tubing with the led strip sticking out inside the other end, and be sure that the strip lays on top of the circuit board. Line up the holes and use the hex key to thread the brass screw in until it is flush with the outer tubing, but no further! An extra screw is included just in case.


Why isn't my hoop charging?

  • It may not be the right cable. Our micro USB cables have a longer tip so they can reach past the plastic and make a solid connection. Regular cables usually work, but it's not guaranteed. Please use the cable that came with the hoop.

  • There may be something wrong with the cable or charger. Try charging something else with a micro USB port, for example an android phone! If the phone charges just fine, try the next tip.

  • Maybe the hoop is charging, but just not blinking, yet! When the battery is very depleted, the hoop will not start blinking right away. It may take up to 20 minutes before the lights go on. To check, just leave the hoop connected for a while.

  • Maybe the cable isn't inserted far enough. Our USB ports are incredibly rugged and seemingly unbreakable (as of 2018), but they can be a little sticky, especially when brand new. Feel free to really push the cable in as far as it will possibly go!

  • It is possible that the hoop needs to be reset! To reset you would hold down the button for at least 12 seconds. After that it should work again. This is pretty unlikely, but it's quick to check.


Do you offer 5/8" tubing?

No, all of our hoops are made with 3/4" poly pro tubing.


What is your return policy?

We offer a 30 day return policy. You may return your hoop for any reason within 30 days of purchase and receive a full refund. You only pay shipping.


Can I exchange my hoop for a different size?

Yes, if it has been less than a month since you ordered your hoop you can exchange it for a different size for free. You only pay shipping. If it has been more than a month, you can still resize your hoop for a fee. The fee depends on how long you've had your hoop. Email us if you'd like to know more.


Is there a discount on multiples?

Although we don't offer a discount on orders of multiple hoops, you will save on shipping! Shipping is always $9.50 per order regardless of how many hoops.


How long will it take for me to receive my hoop?

We keep all sizes in stock and generally ship on the next business day. So if you are in the US you should receive your hoop within a week with our default shipping option. For international orders it really varies a lot! A big factor is how long it takes the hoop to get through customs, and that can be a few days or multiple weeks …
